“I just had a cavity filled with Caroline & Dr. Gile, & I was having so much fun I didn't want it to end. That about summarizes my experience with Wellness Dental; my regular teeth cleaning visits with Chau are the same (she feels like a friend by now except that she remembers things about me my actual friends don't!). I was fortunate enough to find their office seven years ago when I moved to San Diego & have been coming since, & decided it's time to finally write a review. Dr. Kim, Dr. Gile, Chau, Caroline & the rest of the staff are simply wonderful. The quality of services is unbeatable & it is a truly amazing bunch of people to be around. I am always listened to...never rushed...told when I don't need something instead of like other dentists that just want your money...and Dr. Kim is just amazing at what he does making my teeth look awesome. On top of it I don't know how he does it but it never hurts when he has to put needles in my mouth. You guys are the best!”

“Dr. Kim & his whole staff are beyond perfect. Very personable, kind & super friendly. I am beyond happy to have found such an amazing dental office. They have the latest technology, lasers, digital x-rays & even a 3-D machine. Its a dental office out of the future. Very impressive to experience & see. I feel so relaxed when I come here. Even when I had a small cavity. Dr. Kim used a laser to do a filling on me, & the best part was not having to get numb. It was painless, & I can't even tell where he placed the filling since it matches my tooth so well. Great job guys! See you at my next visit :)”

“Dr. Kim recently expanded his office, which means he'll be more accommodating if anyone had trouble scheduling in the past. (Don't overwork yourself, Dr. Kim!!) Got an old filling replaced from my teen years (they can last 10–15 years before they wear down) & it was pain-free. Also got some sealants on my healthy teeth—I wish I got them as a kid. The hygienists are very friendly, & I like that they make sure that you're very comfortable. If you're looking for someone to sugarcoat (no pun intended) your experience & say that you have great teeth or give you no feedback on improvement, then this is not the place. Seriously, the staff have not only been accommodating, but have drastically improved my oral health. They told me how important it was to keep teeth clean & healthy, especially by flossing. No one is there to pressure you into getting any services you don't need. Dr. Kim always tells me "you can wait on this, or we can monitor it & see what changes in the next visit." I appreciate the honesty & am fortunate that the location is of very close proximity to my alma mater.”

I've gone to some great dentists over the years & some horrible ones who didn't know what they were doing. I would recommend Dr. Kim because it's an office that takes excellent care of their patients, has a great skill set, awesome cleanings & decent pricing on procedures.”

“Outstanding customer service & patient care! My first visit to this office was simply one of the best experiences I've had visiting a general dentist. The hygienist took the time to examine my dental habits & tendencies closely & gave me tools so I could continue to take care of them at home. Also, I've never had a doctor be so thorough with me in reviewing each tooth (including with digital x-rays & infrared video) so that I really could see & understand the issues & why I needed treatment. Overall it was a real pleasure to be seen by Dr. Kim & his very helpful & friendly staff. They have flat-screen TV's in each room, including one in the ceiling above each patient chair. When I moved rooms, the staff member even came over & switched the channel, saying "Oh, we don't want you to miss the end of that (Cupcake Wars) episode." Prices seem reasonable & on par with my previous dentist who did not have all this cutting edge technology, & Dr. Kim is in my insurance plan, so most of the costs will be covered. I will be returning to Dr. Kim mid-January for fillings & will update my review then!”

“They have been my dentist for years. Then out of the blue, my insurance carrier dropped them from our network. Well, I am not about to leave such a great dentist. They immediately worked out a payment plan that fit my budget. They have always been accommodating of my work schedule as well. I just couldn't imagine finding a better dentist!”

“I've tried several dentists in the area but once I went to Dr. Kim, there was absolutely no reason to go anywhere else! Dr. Kim & the entire team provided the highest level of treatment in the most friendliest & most comfortable environment. I needed to do a whole series of fillings & crowns & each session went fast & painless—I just sat back & relaxed (just watched the TV installed on the ceiling), while Dr. Kim worked with highest level of precision with the most advanced materials - with results I was always very pleased with :) The crew also provided me with tips about how to take care of my teeth & avoid any future issues. They always gave me freebies like toothbrushes, toothpastes & flossing materials. Also provided me with clear explanations about the financial aspect. I am most thankful for Dr. Kim's treatment & the entire team for providing such high level of service. Needless to say, I would highly recommend them to anyone.”

“The front office staff (Caroline, etc) are top-notch. Friendly, knowledgeable, courteous (no, they are not Boy Scouts!) & prompt service every time. Chau is a GREAT Hygienist. She has very soft hands but is strong enough to remove all the scaling but never misses. No cuts, no jabs, no pain. She is always friendly & we have a lot to talk about. I never feel rushed. Dr. Kim sets the example for the office. I especially like that he keeps his eye on less than perfect areas, but doesn't immediately tell me that things that can harmlessly wait until they grow worse & need to be done NOW. No pressure & he is honest. I have had less than favorable experiences. This has helped me to come to really appreciate the way they do business. I highly recommend Dr. Kim & his office. I have been a patient for over five years.”
